Sam's little school celebrated Johnny Appleseed a few weeks ago. Everyday that week they had apple-themed snacks--apple juice, apple turnovers, apple fruit bars, etc On Friday, they had a Johnny Appleseed celebration complete with apple-bobbing. It was pretty funny watching a bunch of toothless first graders trying to grab an apple with their teeth. Sam managed to get his on the first try...he still has his front teeth.
