Let's talk about my Bulldogs for a minute.
Wow.
The maroon and white run deep on both sides of our family. To say that the past few weeks have been fun is the understatement of the millennium. Now, I'm not delusional...my Bullies still have to play at Alabama and at Oxford, which will be monumental tasks. BUT--we're going to enjoy every minute until then. (And hopefully after!)
My parents rented a house in Starkville for the Texas A & M game weekend, and we--my boys, Anthony, and my brothers--all went up for the weekend. The weather could not have been more perfect. It was practically chilly that morning, but by the afternoon, I was working on a sunburn. It was the first time that Anthony and I had taken both boys into the stadium, and we weren't sure what to expect. I've got to say, for an almost-three-year-old who didn't have a nap, my Little Bit handled things about as well as could be expected. Especially when you throw in MSU's beloved cowbells.
It was a really good weekend.
Waiting with Grandy at the Dawg Walk.
Post-game. Alex had officially hit his breaking point I can't really blame him. And he wouldn't let me scrub off his face tattoo for 3 days. I'm dead serious.
And then this happened:
Auburn weekend. My parents graciously took the boys for the weekend, so Anthony and I were able to drive up on Friday and stay with some friends. Campus was so incredibly exciting--you could practically feel it humming with activity.
Friday evening as they were setting up for Gameday.

Definition of elation: see above pic
And of course, my little brother, the luckiest person in the world, flew in from Alaska to watch two games that placed us in the #1 slot in the polls. Typical.
