Yes. I know Easter was a few weeks ago. I'm doing the best I can.
Sam should have overdosed on Easter egg hunts this year. He had one at school, a neighborhood one at our house, and a church hunt after the Easter service. We always take the candy and put it up so we can dole it out bit by bit. At this point, we should have enough to last until Christmas. It's a lot of sugar.
These pictures were taken at Sam's school Easter party. I cannot express how sad I'm going to be on Sam's last day. It is SUCH a wonderful place. If you want a very small pre-k in the Jackson area, it's the school for you.
I don't think I got any pictures at our neighborhood Easter Egg hunt. That's pretty ridiculous considering it WAS IN MY YARD. Anthony got some, but I'm too lazy to upload them right now. For now, I'll just say that it was so much fun, and I can't wait to do it even better next year.
Easter day.
Anthony and I were talking about how completely exhausting Easter is. You get up, haul it to church, do an egg hunt post-service, haul it to lunch, and then the day is over. I feel like Christmas has a little more down-time in between events. And I don't even prepare the meal. I just show up with a dish.
Yes, my child is 5. Yes, he has a smocked top on. Yes, I know that this was the last time. (But isn't it cute?)
Alex's bubble was a little big. Maybe it'll be just right by the end of the summer.
Sometimes I can't believe how light Alex's hair is. Sam's was always dark. Apparently, my brothers' hair was lighter when they were younger, so I'm sure Alex's will get darker. His eyes are still an unusual hazel. Some days I can't decide what color they are.
All
he wants
to do
is climb.
